Day Porter vs. Nightly Office Cleaning: Which Does Your Building Need?

Most offices start with nightly or weekly janitorial service: a crew comes after hours, cleans everything on the checklist, and leaves the building ready for the morning. For many businesses, that's all they need.

But high-traffic buildings, such as medical offices, busy lobbies, shared workspaces, and facilities with lots of visitors, can look worn out by lunchtime. Restrooms run out of paper, spills sit on floors, and trash piles up in break rooms.

A day porter solves that. They're on site during business hours, checking restrooms, restocking supplies, handling spills, and keeping entries and common areas presentable all day.

If your staff complains about restrooms in the afternoon, or you're hosting clients and visitors regularly, it's worth pricing a porter for a few hours a day. Many buildings pair nightly cleaning with a midday porter for the best of both.
